Over 200 Cars showed up for Super Saaturday Racing action on an absolutely beautiful day at Kil-Kare. In the Super Pro Quarterfinals it would be Jarrod Steen of South Charlston strting the round on the bye run. Next up would be Rick Needham of Hamilton against JR Lockhart of Riverside. Needham would dial a 5.45 to the 5.05 of Lockhart. Needham would get the better reaction time with a .503, but would giove it back on the big end as Lockhart got the win light with a 5.057 . Next would be Andy Montgomery of South Charlston against Evan Kirk of Waynesville. Andy would dial a 5.84 to the 4.82 of Evan. Reaction time battle was very close with both drivers in the .50’s. The pair would reach the finish line with Montgomery running a 5.840 for the win. In the semis it would be Montgomery on the bye run. Lockhart would face Steen who would red light moving Lockhart. Final round action saw Lockhart and Montgomery pair up. Lockhart dialed a 5.05 to the 5.84 of Montgomery. Lockhart would have the better tree with a .517 light, and would get the win with a 5.056. In the Pro Class it would be Bill Emory of Beavercreek against Rich Wilson of Kettering. Rich would go red and that moved Bill to the next round. Tom Peters of Fairborn against Mark Griffith of New Carlisle. Peters would dial a 9.97 to the 10.06 of Griffith. At the tree it would be Griffith with the better light a .575, along with a 10.090 run to beat a breaking out Tom Peters. Last pair for the round would be Steve Collier of Xenia against Don Anderson of Riverside. Collier dialed a 9.61 to the 11.05 of Anderson. Collier would have the advantage with a .513 along with a 9.657 run for the win. In the semis it would be Collier vs. Griffith. Collier dialed 9.61 to the 10.06 of Griffith. Collier would cut a .501 and run a 9.643 for the win light. Emory had the Bye Run into the finals. In the Finals Collier dialed a 9.60 to the 10.78 of Emory. Collier once again on the tree this time with a .508 light and that would be enough to ensure the win light with a 9.640 run. In Sportsman quarter finals it was Jake Browder of Fairborn going red against Tony McFall of Tipp City to start off the round. Next would be Bob Maxwell of Galloway against Harold Young of Tipp City. Maxwell would dial a 14.08 to the 13.34 of Young. Young would get the better light with a .554 and would hold the advantage to the win light with a 13.375 run. Next would be Ricky Shepherd of Dayotn against Terry Knight of Fairborn. Knight would go red and that would move Shepherd to the next round. In the last pair for the rounf we saw Willie Fairchild of New Carlisle against Doug Caplinger of Xenia. Fairchild dialed a 14.20 to the 12.14 of Caplinger. At the tree reaction times were very close, it would be Caplinger with a slight advantage, only .0003 secs. Caplinger would hold on with a 12.163 run for the win light. In the semis it would be Young and McFall. Young dialed 13.35 to the 12.10 of McFall. Young would get the better reaction time, but would breakout moving McFall to the next round. Next would be Shepherd and Caplinger to race into the finals. Shepherd dialed a 12.00 to the 12.14 of caplinger. Shpeherd would cut a .515 and Caplinger would breakout, moving Shepherd to the finals. In the final round it would beMcFall dialed in at a 12.13 to the 12.00 of Shepherd, who would go red making McFall the Winner. In pro Bike quarters it would be Dave Beavers of Urbana against Bradley Shellhaas of Springfield. Dave would dial a 9.76 to the 9.26 of Bradley. Beavers would get the better light, but Shellhaas would get the win light on a 9.253 double breakout win. Next would be Scott Sheppeard of Tipp City against Brad Shellhaas of Springfield. Scott dialed a 9.25 to the 9.10 of Brad. Reaction time difference was only .0028 with Scott on the better light, along with a 9.260 run for the win. Next would be Barry Coffman of Dayton against Jesse Sowers of Urbana. Sowers would leave red and that would be Coffman to the semis. In the last pair for the round it would be Steve Withem of Fairborn against Joe Deck of Mornigview, Ky. Withem dialed a 10.28 to the 8.88 of Deck. Identical reaction times would make for an outstanding race. With would get the win on a 10.279 double breakout win. In the semis it would be Sheppeard and Coffman. Sheppheard dialed a 9.15 to the 9.17 of Coffman. Coffman got a .508 at the tree and ran 9.195 for the win light. Next would be Withem and Bradley Shellhaas. Withem dialed a 10.26 to the 9.24 of Shellhaas. Shellhaas would get a .511 at the tree along with a 9.257 run for the win light. In the finals Coffman dialed a 9.13 to the 9.24 of Shellhaas. Coffman would get a .518 at the tree and run a 9.144 to beat a breaking out Shellhaas. In the Jr 8-9 Class we would see Garreth Sheppeard of Tipp City dialing a 12.90 to the 13.25 of Hunter Hughes from Jamestown. Garreth would get the better light, but Hunter would make the pass with a 13.273 for the win light. Next up would be Michael Roberts of Huber Heights against Marissa Babb of Xenia. Roberts would go red moving Babb to the next round. Next would be Kyle Beavers of Urbana against Samuel Allex of Xenia. Beavers would go red and that moved Allex to the next round. Caleb Ellison of Beavercreek had the bye run. In the Semis it would be Ellison against Allex. Ellison dialed a 12.90 to the 13.02 of Allex. Elison would have the better light and would back it up with a 12.962 run for the win light. Babb dialed a 13.59 to the 13.24 of Hughes for the last pair of the round. Huges would have the better light and would run a 13.204 to get the double breakout win. In the finals Hughes would go red making Caleb Ellison the winner for the 8-9 Class. In the 10-12 class it would be Shawn Allex of Xenia dialing an 892 to the 9.29 of James Smith from Beavercreek. Smith would get the better light and would back it up with a 9.327 run for the win light. Next would be Aubrey Cox of Tipp City aginst Kay Crum Of Jamestown. Crum would go red and that moved Cox to the next round. Next would be Shayla Babb of Xenia dialing a 9.14 to the 9.21 of Michelle Morris of Dayton. Morris would have the better light but Babb would get the win with a 9.192 run. Edmond Ellison had the bye. In the semis it would be Ellison against Babb. Ellison would go red moving Babb to the finals. Smith and Cox would stage for the chance to make the finals. Smith a 9.32 on the dial to the 11.05 of Cox. Smith would record the better light and would get the double breakout win with a 9.318 run. In the Finals it would be Babb dialing a 9.11 to the 9.30 of Smith. Smith would get the better reaction time and the win light with a 9.802 run. In the 13 & up group it would be Brooke Adams of Beavercreek dialing an 8.50 to the 8.07 of Ben Browder of Fairborn. Adams had the better light, however it would be Browder with the win on an 8.110 run. Next would be Tyler Vance of New Carlisle against Emily Kathe of Xenia who would go red moving Vance to the Semis. Next was Megan Huges of Jamestown dialing an 8.18 to the 7.90 of Jake Riley from Carlisle. Riley would get the better reaction time and backed it up with a 7.923 run for the win light. The last pair of the round would be Mike Morris of Dayton going red against Julie Duty of Vandalia. In the semis it would be Vance and Riley. Vance would go red moving Riley to the finals. Browder and Duty staged next to see who would face him. Browder dialed an 8.10 to the 7.90 of Duty. Duty would get the better reaction time and backed it up with a 7.882 run for the win light. In the finals it would be Duty dialing a 7.90 to the 7.92 of Riley. Duty would have a minimal reaction time advantage but it would be Riley getting the win as Duty broke out.
