Super Saturday

   With he sun on and off all day and the temps in the upper 70’s we opened to our biggest car count of the year. We had 120 Super Pro cars and a total of 280 for the day with some hot and heavy racing action on this Super Saturday.

 

   In Super Pro it was eight rounds of racing to win the money today. In the quarter finals it was JR Lockhart of Riverside, Oh. getting the bye run. Next up Vernon Isaacs of Mt. Sterling, Oh. in his 65 Falcon breaking out with a 7.492 on a 7.50 dial in giving the win to Bill Caudill of Riverside, Oh. in his 71 Duster. Next up Todd Filson of Fairborn, Oh. in his Dragster got the better light .503 to .529 but brokeout with a 4.908 on a 4.91 dial in giving the win to Terry Brassington of Dayton, Oh. in his Camaro. In the last pair Raymond Morgan of New Carlisle, Oh. in his 73 Opel GT brokeout with a 6.471 on a 6.48 dial in giving the win to Charli Wheatcraft of Jamestown, Oh. in her Dragster. In the Semi Finals  Bill Caudill brokeout with a 6.721 on a 6.74 dial in giving the win to Jr Lockhart who ran a 5.029 on a 5.00 dial in. In the other race Charli Wheatcraft  ran a dead on 4.740 on a 4.74 dial in for the win over Terry Brassington. In the final Charli got the better light .529 to .532 but JR won the double breakout race.

 

   In the Pro Class it was a seven round to win the money today. In the Quarter Finals Bill Livesay of Fairborn, Oh. in his 70 Nova won the double breakout race with Tim Rose of Huber Heights, Oh. in his 71 Chevelle. Gwayne Honeycutt of Urbana, Oh. in his 62 Nova won a double breakout race with Steve Collier of Xenia, Oh. in his Dragster. Next up Phil Borton of Urbana, Oh. in his 79 Z28 Camaro ran a 11.703 on a 11.70 dial in to get by John engle of Xenia, Oh. in his Camaro. Mick Pence of Bainbrdge, Oh. in his Mustang got the win over Big Ray Salyers of Xenia. In the Semi Finals Gwayne got the win over Bill. And Mick won the double breakout race over Phil. In the Final Gwayne ran a 10.316 on a 10.31 dial in for the win over Mick.

 

   In Sportsman it was seven round also to win it all. In the Quarter Finals Tony Mcfall of Tipp City, Oh. in his Chevelle got the better light .508 to .568 and the win over Joe Hoskins of Fairborn, Oh. in his pickup truck. Walt Shade Jr of Fairborn, Oh. red lighted in his 71 Maverick giving the win to Bob Maxwell of Galloway, Oh. in his Trans Am. Ryan Jenks of Jamestown, Oh. in his 99 Monte Carlo got the better light and the win light over Terry Knight of Fairborn, Oh. in his 92 Cutlass. In the Semi Finals Mcfall got the bye run. Maxwell red lighted giving the win to Jenks. In the Final Jenks had the better light and won the double breakout race over Mcfall.

 

   In Pro Bike it was six rounds to win the money. In the Quarter Finals Jeremy England of West Chester, Oh. on his Suzuki got the bye run. Next up Brandon Haupt of Farmersville, Oh. red lighted giving the win to Kevin Hoskins of Cincinnati, Oh. Rick Haupt of Farmersville, Oh. got the better light .501 to .529 and the win light over Joe Deck of Morningview, Ky. In the Semi Finals Hoskins got the bye run to the final. Jeremy England got the better light .509 to .520 but Haupt ran closer to his dial in for the win. In the Final Kevin got the better light .513 to .522 and the win light.

 

   In High School Brian Cripps of Miamisburg, Oh. got the win with a single.

 

   Jr Dragster 13-18 bracket Semi Finals Tyler Collins of Lebanon, Oh. won a double breakout over Tyler Vance of New Carlisle, Oh. Megan Hughes of Jamestown, Oh. red lighted giving the win to Brooke Adams of Beavercreek, Oh. In the Final Tyler brokeout giving the win to Brooke.

 

   In the 10-12 class Quarter Finals Edmond Ellison of Beavercreek, Oh. got the win when Paige Vance of New Carlisle, Oh. red lighted. James Smith of Beavercreek, Oh. got the win over Shayla Babb of Xenia, Oh. Savannah Stultz of New Lebanon, Oh. had the better light and the win over Aubrey Cox of Tipp City, Oh. In the Semi Finals Savannah got the bye run. Edmond had the better light but James got the win. In the Final James had the better light and the win light over Savannah.

 

   In the 8-9 class Quarter Finals Hunter Hughes of Jamestown, Oh. brokeout giving the win to Michael Roberts Jr of Huber Heights, Oh. Marissa Babb of Xenia, Oh. got the win over Alexis Hunter of Leesburg, Oh. Caleb Ellison of Beavercreek, Oh. got the win over Mikah Miller of Xenia, Oh. Cheyenne Masters of Urbana, Oh. brokeout giving the win to Kyle Beavers of Urbana, Oh. In the Semi Finals Marissa red lighted giving Kyle the win. Caleb brokeout giving the win to Michael Jr. In the Final Kyle had the better light and the win light over Michael Jr.
