go red moving Cowen to the semis. Next would be Melissa Vance of New
Carlisle dialinga 4.92 to the 6.03 of Allen Miller of Christiansburg.
Vance would cut a .524 light for the advantage and would take the round
win with a 4.966 pass. Next would be Leon Bryan of Jamestown dialing a
5.87 to the 5.36 of Tim Klopfenstein of Xenia. Tim would cut the better
light with a .523 but it would be Leon on the double breakout win with a
5.868 pass. The last pair for the round would be Disco Dean Karns of
Fairborn dialing a 5.37 to the 4.93 of Jimmy Halverstadt from Cleeves.
Halverstadt would get the better light with a .514 and would take the
round win with a 4.940. In the pro class it would be Rusty
Thompson of Columbus dialing an 8.68 to the 6.46 of Jack Spivey from
Williamsburg. Spivey would get the better light with a .523 but it would
be Thompson with the round win on an 8.688 pass. Next would be Matt
Antrobius of Bellbrook dialing a 7.31 to the 8.21 of David Wood from
London. Matt would get the better light with a .585 and would take the
round win with a 7.389 pass. Next would be Dave Freauf of Beavercreek
dialing a 7.31 to the 8.21 of Jim Beard from Springfield. Freauf would
get a .527 for the better light and would take the round win with a
7.193 pass. John Masdea would have the bye. In sportsman quarterfinals it would be Vharles Picklesimer of New Carlisle dialing a12.14 to the 17.30 of Steve Smith from Fairborn. Smith would go red moving Picklesimer to the next round. Next would be Doug Thompson of Columbus dialing a 13.41 to the 12.00 of Doug Caplinger from Xenia. Caplinger would cut a .502 light and take the breakout win with a 12.066. Next up was Matt Spradlin of Springfield dialinga 17.75 to the 12.00 of Bob Maxwell from Columbus. Maxwell would cut a .566 for the better light and would take the win with a 12.002 pass. Mike Haines from Spring Valley would have the bye run into the semis. In the semis it would be Haines dialing
a 12.04 to the 12.00 of Doug Caplinger. Haines would cut a .506 light
and would take the breakout win with a 12.099 pass. Next would be
Charles Picklesimer dialing a 12.11 to the 12.00 of Bob Maxwell. Maxwell
would have the better light with a .551 and would take the breakout win
with a 12.043. In the pro Bike quarterfinals it would
be Scott Sheppeard of Tipp city dialing a 9.53 to the 9.80 of Homer
England from West Chester. Sheppeard would cut the better light with a
.516 and would get the round win with a 9.589 pass. Next would be Rick
Haupt dialing an 8.65 to the 10.76 of Steve Withem from Fairborn. Withem
would go red and would move Haupt to the next round. Dave Beavers from
Urbana had the bye. In the finals it would be Beavers
dialing a 9.29 to the 8.65 of Haupt. Haupt would cut the better light
with a .545 and would take the win with an 8.656 pass.
