Bryan, Ford, Nixon, Withem, & Stacy Take wins at Kil-Kare!

 

 

            Over 240 vehicles showed for first round of competition on Super Saturday, in the Sonic Drive In Super Pro Division Quarterfinals we would see Ron Vance of New Carlisle dial a 4.90 to the 4.74 of Roger Taylor from Beavercreek. Vance would cut a .501 at the tree however it would be Taylor with the breakout win with a  4.756 pass. Next would be Leon Bryan of Jamestown dialing a 5.80 to the 4.92 of Randy Davis from South Vienna. At the tree it would be Leon with the starting line advantage, and he would take the win with a 5.801 pass. The last pair for the round would be Doug Miller of Christiansburg dialing a 6.00 to the 4.93 of Richard Hammond from Riverside. Miller would cut a .524 , but it would be Hammond with the win light on a 4.931 pass.

            In the semis it would be Leon on the bye run to the finals. In the next pair we would see Hammond dial a 4.92 to the 4.75 of Taylor. Taylor would cut  a .500 perfect light and would take the win with a 4.766 pass.

            In the Finals we would see Leon Bryan dial a 5.79 to the 4.75 of Roger Taylor. Taylor would be better at the light with but only by .0002. At the finish line it would be Leon Bryan with the breakout win on a 5.790 pass.

            In the Pro Quarterfinals it would be Jason Ford of Kettering dialing a 6.43 to the 5.71 of Bryan Fox from South Vienna. Ford would be better at the tree with a.529 light and would take the win light with a 6.453. Next would be Kevin Bishop of Cincinatti dialing a 6.89 to the 7.00 of Doug Caplinger from Xenia. Caplinger would go red moving bishop to the semis. Tom Scarpelli would have the bye run into the semis.

            In the semis we would see Scarpelli dial a 6.16 to the 6.89 of Bishop. Bishop would be better at the tree with a .516 light but it would be Scarpelli with a 6.172 for the win. Ford would have the bye into the finals.

            In the finals Scarpelli would dial a 6.16 to the 6.42 of Ford. Ford would cut a .541 and would take the win light with a 6.426 pass.

            In the sportsman class quarterfinals it would be Carl Thomas of Kettering dialing a 14.02 to the 12.00 of Doug Caplinger from Xenia. Caplinger would cut a .530 light and would take the double breakout win with a 13.958 pass. Next would be Mike Haines of Spring Valley dialing a 12.04 to the 12.00 of Sam Bunch from Centerville. Haines would cut a .529 light and would take the double breakout win with an 11.950. Next would be Bryant Fairchild of New Carlisle dialing a 12.66 to the 12.01 of Rob Nixon from West Chester. Fairchild would get the better reaction with a .508 however the double breakout win would goto Nixon with a 12.004 pass. Jim Browder of Xenia would have the bye run.

            In the semis it would be Nixon dialing a 12.01 to the 12.00 of Caplinger. Nixon would cut a .513 light and would get the double breakout win with an 11.999 pass. Next would be Browder dialing a 12.62 to the 12.00 of Haines. Browder would go red moving Haines to the finals.

            In the finals it would be Haines dialing and Nixon dialing 12.00 for a heads up final. Nixon would cut a .508 light and would take the double breakout win with an 11.988.

            In the Pro Bike class it would be Brad Shellhaas of Springfield dialing an 8.87 to the 9.49 of Bob Nugent from Trotwood. Shellhaas would cut a .502 light and would take the win with an 8.914. Next would be Roger Wilhelm of Urbana dialing 10.00 to the 9.61 of England. Wilhelm would cut a .530 and would take the win light with a 10.000 pass. Next would be Bill Camp of Xenia dialing a 9.01 to the 8.65 of Burt Exman from Englewood. Exman would cut a .517 light and would take the win with an 8.693. The last pair for the round would be Steve Withem of Fairborn dialing a 10.74 to the 12.49 of Hoskins. Hoskins would go red moving Withem to the semis.

            In the semis it would be Wilhelm dialing a 10.00 to the 8.66 of Exman. Wilhelm would cut a .518 light, but it would Exman with an 8.686. Next would be Withem dialing a 10.73 to the 8.88 of Shellhaas. Withem would cut a .550 for the advantage and would take the win with a 10.834 pass.

            In the finals it would be Withem dialing a 10.75 to the 8.68 of Exman. Withem would cut a .523 light and would take the win with a 10.805 pass.

            In the junior it would be it would be Mikah Miller of Xenia dialing an 8.90 to the 8.94 of Taylor Cook from West Chester. Miller would cut a .501 and would take the win with an 8.941. Next would be Hunter Hughes of Jamestown dialing a 10.15 to the 9.98 of Shelby Stacy from New Carlisle. Stacy would cut a .642 light and would take the win with a 10.026. Garreth Sheppeard of Springfield would get the bye run.

            In the semis it would be Miller on the bye run. Up next would be Stacy dialing a 9.98 to the 8.92 of Sheppeard. Stacy would cut a .603 and would take the win with a 10.019 pass.

            In the finals it would be Miller dialing an 8.92 to the 9.98 of Stacy. Miller would cut a .514 light but it would Shelby Stacy with the win on a  10.070 pass.
